Hope for Hungry Kids Featured in “The View Point” Magazine

hope-for-hungry-kids-in-magazineThanks to the work of Kathy Almond, Hope for Hungry Kids was recently featured in the “The View Point” Magazine. Executive Director, Jamey Green was featured with the orphans in India on the cover of the publication, and the beautiful faces of the children of Jyothi’s Home for Children graced the interior with a wonderfully written article of what is happening here in North Carolina, and in India. It tells the story of how Kathy heard about Hope for Hungry Kids, then called “Operation Feed the Children”

“We are not just giving them food,” Jamey says in the article, “We’re also feeding them the word of God; the bread of life.”

The article also reveals the bittersweet truth:
“One day each year, Reddi opens the doors of the orphanage for new children, and every year he has to turn more than 300 children away. ”
